Implementation of 3D Technologies in Orthodontics
from Planning to Successful Treatment
with Dr. Rafi Romano, EAED Active Member
November 8-9, 2019
Orthodontics is now part of almost every interdisciplinary case. Dentists find the need to implement minor movements in the treatment. 3D technologies, which are used in dentistry for more than a decade, have now penetrated orthodontics at all stages of the workflow.
The course will guide clinicians and orthodontists through the process of digital diagnosis, incorporating digital pictures, X-rays, CBCTs and intraoral scanning, to various diagnostic and simulation software, in which they can virtually test various treatment modalities. In-office appliances and customized commercial techniques will be discussed with esthetic brackets, lingual orthodontics and clear aligners.
Hands-on exercises will help the participants to include orthodontics in their treatments. The full workflow will be addressed and practised during the course with the assistance of computers and plaster models.
The course is open to dentists and specialists in orthodontists and the number of attendees is limited to 30 participants.
